Call Groups

What is the difference between Normal sticky and advanced sticky?

0min

Sticky member is a function that is used to maintain the relationship of the client with the same agent, each time the client calls. For example, your agent- User-1 got connected to client- Client-A when Client A called on your IVR number. Next time if Client A would call the IVR number then he would get connected to Agent A only. This helps in maintaining a smooth continuous conversation and also it ensures that the sale is converted by the same agent with whom the client had the first point of contact.

Now, in normal sticky when a pre-existing client or caller calls then he is connected to the same agent he was in touch with and if in case that agent is not available to pick up calls, then the call would be cut.

Advance sticky is different from normal sticky in just one aspect. If the pre existing client or caller calls and if he is not connected to the agent he was in touch with, then the call would be transferred to the next available agent.
